"Do any other communities have committees focused on policy issues? We are a Life Plan Community of about 250 and for the past couple of years have had a "committee on life plan community issues" that attempts to identify emerging issues (both within our community and more widely) and collaborate with leadership and other orgs to find solutions. Some examples of our previous focus areas: resident bill of rights & responsibilities, financial education of residents, benevolent care, healthcare models within CCRCs. We are curious if anyone has a similar group and if so, would love to connect!"
