The Consumer Voice
This organization advocates for residents of geriatric care facilities (not independent seniors), however it offers a very useful set of organizational tools and is a rich source of ideas that should be helpful to all residents of managed senior housing and CCRCs.  It right on target for residents of Assisted Living, Personal Care, and Skilled Nursing facilities.



Ageism and Implicit Bias
There are many online videos that dramatize how we unconsciously manifest bias that demeans older adults.  We accept the stereotypes and let them define us.

Compassion & Choices is a non-profit organization that advocates for improved health care, expanded options, and empowering everyone to chart their own end of life journey. We have helped pass Medical Aid in Dying laws in 10 and states and D.C. Our website is www.CompassionandChoices.org where you will find many worthwhile webinars and planning tools.
