"Active Community" members?
Author Last Post

“Active community” isn’t a formal regulatory category in senior living. It’s an informal marketing term used to suggest a vibrant, engaged lifestyle—much like “active adult” or “55+ community.” Regulations define levels of care, not lifestyle labels, so the term has no official meaning beyond how a provider uses it in promotion.

This is the first time I have heard this designation. In what context have you seen it used, if any?

To my knowledge there is no such designation, but some communities self-describe.

Do any NaCCRA communities have an "Active Community" designation and if so what are the criteria for this designation?
