Resident Portal Questions
Author Last Post

Question 1 Yes, public can see many things.

2. Resident sign in section has bios, directories, all private information

3. Yes, a link to a page to compliment an employee. They see that page and it is place in the employee file. After a certain number of compliments they get gifts such as a jacket, sweater, etc with company logo, but very nice.

Only when applicants have paid for their apartments do they get all the other information.

We are a (so-called) non-profit, University Retirement Community managed by Pacific Retirement Service {PRS), the same company that manages Rogue Valley Manor. URC is located in Davis, CA, a medium size city with UC Davis.

Apologies ... I didn't catch typos in the first sentence of my post above. It should read, "...SOME CCRC Marketing Departments provide ..."

I know that SOME CCRC Marketing Department prove serious depositors access to their Resident Portal -- with the Portal having two separate sections: one for "outsiders" that get limited access and the other for residents only. The latter would have Directory information, and resident bio's.

I think this is such a good idea, since it allows those considering a particular community to see the menus, the special groups/clubs, the excursions, the Resident Manual. The Manual can be very helpful to prepare a newcomer with policies, dress codes (if any), and any "do's and don'ts," such no firearms or no balcony birdfeeders (or whatever).

I have questions. If you answer "yes" to any, could you provide the name of your community, either via a reply to this post or back channel me at my email address? The questions:

1) Do depositors get access to your Resident Portal to SOME degree?

2) Does your Resident Portal have a residents-only sign-on section?

3) Does your Resident Portal provide a place to laud an employee (or a department) for something special? (Say, a lovely Valentine Dinner or a housekeeper who went the extra mile or a maintenance person who just didn't give up on a problem?

4) If the answer to #3 is yes, do all employees have access to the Resident Portal so that they can see and share the accolade that came their way?

Thanks very much.
