Movie on Amazon on Aug 1 - No Country for Old Peop...

I am not endorsing or advertising the website https://www.nocountryforoldpeople.com or the documentary. I have seen previews and I felt that it is worth sharing the info. Everyone can decide for themselves.

The producers sent out a follow-up with additional info, I assume based on questions they received:

"Beginning August 1, the 3-part docuseries No Country for Old People-A Nursing Home Exposé will air on Amazon Prime Video. Anyone can watch by going to the Prime Video website, www.primevideo.com. You’ll need an Amazon account, if you don’t already have one, which you can create for free. No Country for Old People will be listed on the Prime Video site beginning August 1 and we will share the direct Amazon link when it becomes available.

No Country for Old People is an independent, nonpartisan documentary series that investigates the ongoing crisis in long-term care—from understaffing to abuse to systemic neglect—and amplifies the voices of residents, families, and frontline workers who are too often ignored. The series, sponsored by the National Consumer Voice for Quality Long Term Care, was made possible through the tax-deductible contributions of more than 170 concerned citizens. No corporate, big pharma, big insurance or other tainted money was involved and, as a result, there are no hidden agendas. We are very transparent about our goal: to shine a light on a broken system and inspire accountability and reform. This project was born out of personal loss, investigative work, and a deep belief that stories can drive change. You can find more information about the film at https://www.nocountryforoldpeople.com.

Please feel free to share any other questions or suggestions."

This is their web page, largely a fund drive asking for donations. So, some caution should you watch this emotional film. "Join" means pay.

It is listed on IMDB. You can add it to your watchlist there, if you have an account. When it becomes available for streaming or in local theaters, IMDB will tell you where.

while I was interested in supporting your message:

Several Points:

cannot add to watch list until it is listed in an online query to Amazon Prime Video - not there yet even thought it knows the title in search

while you ask for people to join your movement - you don't say how, roarmvmt.co is a sexual abuse survivor's movement - not one about dignity for older people - and there are several other roar movement sites listed - none about older people and nursing homes.

Example of ROAR movement sites:

anti busing, generic activism, sexual abuse, vanishing rights of white Americans, a UK one that is about self help, and one about Revolutionizing Our Agricultural Resources

I do not see this in the watchlist for Prime. But a calendar reminder will alert you. You do not need to be a member of Prime, you can rent individual movies, documentaries and such.
