ProPublica Publishes NonProfit Tax Filings (990s)

I left out that ALL 990s are public.

The 990s are available from various sources e.g. Guidestar or even the IRS. Richmond Shreve is correct, we should all read these and interpret them as best we can.


the 990 is essentially the signed affidavit by the management we hired.


There’s a little arithmetic to reconcile financial statements to the 990s, but it’s not particularly hard.
