- SUBJECT: Leading Age Annual Meeting in Boston - November 2nd-5th - NaCCRA’s Proposal Accepted, Entitled “Resident-Provider Collaboration: Unlocking Residents’ Capacity to Foster Community Success”
Today NaCCRA was notified that our Proposal for the upcoming LeadingAge Annual Meeting in Boston – November 2nd-5th in Boston had been accepted. Currently there is no specific date and time for NaCCRA’s presentation during the Annual Meeting. This will be established later during the year.
This session will explore how fostering enthusiastic resident engagement, and collaboration supports providers’ critical goals of maintaining high occupancy, controlling costs, and attracting future residents.
The session was created in October 2024 to include as speakers:
- Luana Pinasco, President of NaCCRA, Attorney, background in providing insights on resident advocacy and mission alignment, and 8+ years resident of CCRC (4 Years at Resident Council President and 6 years on Resident Council and Finance Management Oversight Committee).
- Jill Vitale-Aussem, President and CEO, Christian Living Communities, Englewood, CO. Jill is a licensed nursing home administrator, a LeadingAge Academy Fellow, and a Reframing Aging facilitator. She is the author of “Disrupting the Status Quo of Senior Living”.
- J. Hunter Moore, CEO of The Redwoods in Mill Valley, CA. Hunter has been named the recipient of a 2022 Impact Award by Vistage, the world’s largest CEO coaching and peer advisory organization for small and midsize businesses. With 30 years of Experience in Mission-Oriented Management, Operations, and Strategic Planning, exhibiting a deep interest in innovative, high-quality, affordable senior housing and services.
- Jack Cumming, Actuary and Writer for Action Aging residing in a CCRC in Carlsbad, CA. Jack worked as an actuary; he is a prolific writer regarding Seniors and Senior Living, regularly published in Senior Living Foresight.
As the year progresses, NaCCRA will update its Membership on the presenters, on-going progress, date, and time for this presentation.
