Political prohibitions

Pride Month - Our CCRA has rules and regulations prohibiting the display of ALL political banners/flags etc. except inside our units. They are permitting Pride Flags and other paraphernalia though. Raises the question of whether these displays are political. Does your CCRA have a position on this?

Our CCRC corp, Seabury , Bloomfield CT, has a non-partisan policy, allowing political speakers only if both candidates for election are presented.

Our CCRA requests that political messagers use a sub-thread and NOT broadcast political messages to the community as a whole. There are separate threads for environmental issues, local politics, and RA governance committees.

No one regulates displays on the front of an apartment, and many show political causes ( BLM, Pride, etc.) in season.

Ashby Ponds in Ashburn, VA has no restrictions that I'm aware of in presenting all political views.

Charlestown Residents' Council Developed Guidelines for Political Activity in 2016. They seem to work for us. We have a joint DEIB Council that did a Pride Walk with staff and employees.

I am attaching the guidelines.
